OUR PURPOSE

Parkway Life Church is not just a building or a meeting. We’re people, just like you, who gather together to experience the love and power of God in our lives so we can reach our full potential through a personal and vital relationship with Jesus Christ.

As a life-giving church, we believe the essentials for a full life in Christ are:
  •  CONNECT through relationships with one other, 
  •  GROW with the Holy Spirit through worship, prayer, Life Groups and the Word of God
  •  SERVE people in our communities and the nations with the love and life of Christ.

CORE VALUES

​Parkway Life Church of God “believes the entire bible to be completely and equally inspired and that it is the written Word of God.” (What We Believe). Our core values assist us in making sure we, Serve God and Serve Others with the mind of Christ.

 Love: Love is our motive and the driving force behind all that we do. As we allow Christ to pour His perfect love into us we in turn pour out His love on you.
 Passion: Our outward expression is the overflow of our burning desire to serve God, and will be reflected in our service to you. “The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine.”
 Family: We are a “family” of believers and we need each other. We laugh, cry, pray and depend on each other. A family that prays together stays together.
 Equipping: Love is our motive and the driving force behind all that we do. As we allow Christ to pour His perfect love into us we in turn pour out His love on you. Men, women, boys and girls in order to impact their homes, communities and the world for the Glory of God.
 Excellence: We are committed to model ourselves after Jesus by doing things with excellence. We seek to go the extra mile for the Lord and His people. “If better could be done, better should be done”.
 Prayer & the Word: We are entirely dependent on God, His Word, and all of His resources that are available through prayer to meet all our needs. “My relationship with the Lord should be more important than my calling from the Lord.”

WE BELIEVE

  • In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
  • In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  • That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead. That He ascended to Heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
  •  That all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
  •  That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
  •  In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.
  •  Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people.
  •  In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
  •  In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
  •  In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost.
  •  Divine healing is provided for all in the Atonement.
  •  In the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saints’ feet.
  •  In the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.​
  •  In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.
